I was born and raised in America's heartland on the prairies of Nebraska. I graduated from the University of Nebraska Kearney in 2012 with a degree in studio art and graphic design. After college, hungry for a big city and the chance to expand my artistic vision, I moved to Washington, DC and decided to pursue graphic design full time. During the day I work as a production assistant in a sign and graphics shop, while at night I work on freelance web and graphic design for non-profit organizations and start-up businesses. Some of my clients have been Gearin' Up Bicycles in Washington, DC and the Hall County Historical Society in Grand Island, Nebraska.
I enjoy tackling challenges and new experiences head on by bringing my skills as a studio artist to my work as a graphic designer because I believe design works best when it is both beautiful and functional.
